On placing a booking we request a 30% deposit to be paid within 5 working days to secure your reservation and the balance is payable 4 weeks prior to arrival. We accept payment by cheque or online bank transfer (sorry, we don't have the facilities to take card payments over the phone). You can also make a card payment via PayPal but please be aware that this payment method incurs a 2% surcharge. If these methods of payment are not suitable please contact us to arrange an alternative. A deposit is non-refundable for cancellations made by the customer within 30 days of the arrival date. Please read our Terms & Conditions before making a reservation and we advise you to arrange holiday insurance. On payment of the deposit you will receive confirmation, arrival information and directions to the accommodation.
We ask that guests please vacate the property by 10am on their last day, leaving the accommodation clean and tidy for the new guests.

Whilst Hanover Cottage is an old property and not built specifically for wheelchair access, it may still be suitable if you have restricted mobility. Apart from a low step on entering the house, the ground floor bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom are on one level. The bathroom is very spacious and has a low level walk-in shower and hand rail. Please contact us to discuss your individual requirements.

Our prices are £180-£250 per night and are for the exclusive hire of the property and gardens, plus private driveway parking for 4 cars. We don't charge booking, key collection or cleaning fees and the prices advertised include parking, gas, electricity, water, unlimited wifi, bed linen and towels. Hanover Cottage is well equipped for the self-catering guest and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. Please take a look at the list of items provided to help you plan your holiday:
To get you started a welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, sugar, bread, biscuits, preserves and a bottle of white wine or prosecco is provided on arrival.
In high season we provide holidays of 7 nights or more starting from 3pm on a Saturday. In low and mid season we do offer shorter breaks (a minimum booking of 3 nights) with flexible start days. However any short breaks are generally only available to book 12 weeks before the arrival date. Please check our calendar for specific dates and prices as we regularly add new breaks and our calendar is kept up-to-date.
If you place a booking via this website or call us on 01287 619 765 you will be booking directly with the owners of the property and avoiding additional fees. Please note that we provide a discount for holidays of 14 nights or more.
You will usually be greeted on arrival at the property, provided with keys and a quick tour of the house. There may be rare occasions when we are unable to meet our guests and a key will be left in a key safe at the property. We will be contact you prior to your arrival date should this be the case.
